I have been employed for twenty-six years as a professional educator in both private and public administration and teaching. My experience in education administration has spanned over 20 years in elementary, junior and senior high and secondary levels. Experiences in education administration include my position as the Director/Principal of Lincoln Academy, a Utah Public School, Director of Religious Education at Southern Virginia University, Director of the Institute of Religion in Blacksburg, Virginia adjacent to Virginia Tech University. Regional Director over several secondary and university religious programs that have included programs in the Northwest, in Oregon and Washington State and in the South East, in Virginia and West Virginia.

I have taught over 113 university courses related to the field of psychology and counseling, ethics, family dysfunction, family constellations, family communication and relationships, adolescent development, marriage and divorce recovery relationships, counseling models and theories, juvenile opposition, defiance, conduct disorders, poly-substance abuse, domestic and sexual abuse, methods and models of counseling, life span development, abnormal child psychology, assessments, personality development, advanced pathology, early child hood development, religious intolerance, spiritual adjustment, grief and loss, eating disorders, false guilt, and in addition over sixty courses in scriptural theology and doctrine.

Additional counseling and clinical experiences include serving as the Clinical Chaplain and therapist at Wasatch Youth Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, a long term lock down advanced criminal juvenile facility. Additionally, I have worked in both adolescent residential treatment facilities and therapeutic boarding schools. My Clinical Director role has spanned over seventeen years. I have been the Clinical Director of the following programs: White Pine Boy’s Ranch in Lund, Nevada, Youth Services located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Family Solutions EAP Counseling Center in Ogden, Utah. I am a Nationally Approved Clinical Supervisor and have provided this service to many new counseling interns.

My credentials include certification as a national Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and I am licensed as a mental health therapist and professional clinical counselor in the states of Utah, Wyoming, Kentucky, and Nevada. I have held licensure in the states of West Virginia, California and Oklahoma. I also hold certification as an ACS or an Approved Clinical Supervisor.

My published works include an article on subject of the death of children and the grieving process, two books; Preparing for the Greatest Two Years of Your Life, on religious missionary service and adjustment, and the other titled; Secret Societies: A Look Inside Juvenile Delinquency.

My educational studies have included an enthusiastic and broad field of study. I received my first Ph.D. from the University of Biblical Studies and Seminaries in Punemeatric Biblical Christian Counseling (now called the: American Christian College and Seminary. UBS Seminary was accredited by TRACS-Transnational Association of Christian Schools and Colleges. TRACS is recognized by the CHEA and the United States Department of Education as an accreditation organization). My second doctorate is in general psychology at Northcentral University in Arizona. and a Clinical Psychology Doctorate will be completed in 2009. I received a Master of Arts from Liberty University in Counseling; A Master in Biblical Studies and Theology from Baptist Christian College (now called Louisiana Baptist University), a Bachelor of Science from Weber State University in Sociology, and a Bachelor in Biblical Studies and Theology from Baptist Christian College.
